Egyptian Museum

We have been working on Ancient Egypt from Sept to Nov
and to end our stop in Egypt we put on a Museum for our Friends
This first Picture is of the Clothing that the Egyptians wore.

We live in the Puget Sound and where we live

there were natives who inhabited the shores.

We were able to attend a UW archeology program

at an actual dig site.

Tyelynn and Breydon both illustrated and wrote their own piece

of fiction depicting what we have been studying.

Madyson worked very hard to depict a diorama of the Pyramids

These our our sarcophagus's

We made Death masks, they turned our great.
We spent a whole six weeks making mummies our
of an orange and a potato. It was amazing how ritualistic
the whole process was.

More Mummies

Papyrus, we wrote on and learned how to make this ancient paper.

Car touche and Hieroglyphics was one of the funnest activities that we did

We each carved our own Sphinx

Breydon built a Temple he was fascinated with the architecture.

Madyson put together this 3D puzzle of a Pharaoh

The kids ran a marathon and showcased it at the museum

Tyelynn worked hard on learning about seeds

She sprouted a bunch and put out this great display.

We enjoy homeschooling it is fun to be able to work together.
